Temozolomide is an alkylating drug indicated for the treatment of adult patients with:
1.Newly diagnosed glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) concomitantly with radiotherapy and then as maintenance treatment.
2.Refractory anaplastic astrocytoma patients who have experienced disease progression on a drug regimen containing nitrosourea and procarbazine.

No sign of the cancer!!
Diagnosed with GBM4 on 12/15/2013 surgery on 1/13/2014 to remove 7.5cm tumor. I also had 6 gliodel wafers at time of surgery. Started on Temodar about 2014 and 30 treatments of radiation about the same time.Have now been on 250 mg of generic Temodar(Tomoside) 5 days on 3 weeks off for 3 years and 3 months. Last 3 MRI's have came back with no sign of the cancer!!Biggest problem is fatigue, I consider myself at about 95%. I can do most everything I did before surgery, now I just take more short naps.
