Indications & Dosage
Everolimus is a kinase inhibitor indicated for the treatment of:
- Postmenopausal women with advanced hormone receptor-positive, HER2- negative breast cancer (advanced HR+ BC) in combination with exemestane after failure of treatment with letrozole or anastrozole.
- Adults with progressive neuroendocrine tumors of pancreatic origin (PNET) and adults with progressive, well-differentiated, non-functional neuroendocrine tumors (NET) of gastrointestinal (GI) or lung origin that are unresectable, locally advanced or metastatic. AFINITOR is not indicated for the treatment of patients with functional carcinoid tumors.
- Adults with advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC) after failure of treatment with sunitinib or sorafenib.
- Adults with renal angiomyolipoma and tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC), not requiring immediate surgery.
Everolimus are kinase inhibitors indicated for the treatment of:
- Pediatric and adult patients with tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) who have subependymal giant cell astrocytoma (SEGA) that requires therapeutic intervention but cannot be curatively resected.

My daughter is been taking Rolimus 5 mg for a brain tumor, cerebellar pilocytic astrocytoma grade 1, the tumor after a MRI every 3 months is stable, no grows, after 2 surgeries this pill is helping to keep all under control. I've been taking AFINITOR 5 months. After 6 weeks on 10 mg my lymphedema arm got infected & real swollen--I was told it was shingles & Lyme disease. After 2 rounds of antibiotics I went back on 5 mg. My subsequent scans show liver mets decreasing. My insurance cap was exceeded after 1 month, so I change to the generic one. Side effects on 10 mg were intense--like chemo. 5 mg is much more tolerable, still I must take Protonix every day for gastric upset. Any way, I still alive. Thanks god, thanks Bonhoa online pharmacy. Mr.D.Singh is really a nice man.
