The Taffic tablet Dosage:

Testing: Prior to or when initiating Taffic Tablet test for hepatitis B virus infection. Prior to or when initiating Taffic Tablet, and during treatment, assess serum creatinine, estimated creatinine clearance, urine glucose, and urine protein in all patients as clinically appropriate. In patients with chronic kidney disease, also assess serum phosphorus.

• Recommended dosage in adults and pediatric patients weighing at least 25 kg: One tablet containing 50 mg BIC, 200 mg FTC, and 25 mg TAF taken once daily with or without food.

• Recommended dosage in pediatric patients weighing at least 14 kg to less than 25 kg: One tablet containing 30 mg BIC, 120 mg FTC, and 15 mg TAF taken once daily with or without food.

• Renal impairment: Taffic Tablet is not recommended in patients with estimated creatinine clearance of 15 to below 30 mL/min, or below 15 mL/min who are not receiving chronic hemodialysis, or below 15 mL/min who have no antiretroviral treatment history.

• Hepatic impairment: Taffic Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe hepatic impairment

The use of Taffic Tablet may result in severe side effects, which include the following: • Immune Reconstitution Syndrome, which occurs when HIV-1 medication is initiated and can cause changes in the immune system. If you experience any new symptoms after starting Taffic Tablet, inform your healthcare provider immediately. • Kidney problems, such as kidney failure, may worsen or develop when taking Taffic Tablet. It is recommended that your healthcare provider conduct blood and urine tests to monitor your kidney function before and during treatment. If you develop any new or aggravated kidney problems, your healthcare provider may advise you to discontinue Taffic Tablet. • Lactic acidosis, a rare but serious medical emergency that can lead to death, can occur when there is excessive lactic acid in the blood. If you experience weakness, unusual muscle pain, shortness of breath, nausea and vomiting, cold or blue hands and feet, dizziness or lightheadedness, or an abnormal heartbeat, contact your healthcare provider immediately. • Severe liver problems, which can be fatal in some cases, can occur. If you experience yellowing of the skin or the white part of the eyes, dark urine, light-colored stools, loss of appetite, nausea, or stomach pain, notify your healthcare provider immediately. The most frequent side effects of Taffic Tablet are diarrhea, nausea, and headache.
