Ambrisentan Dose

The initial dosage of Ambrisentan is 5 mg to be taken once daily. There is a potential for added benefits with an increase in the dosage to 10 mg per day. For individuals dealing with PAH linked to connective tissue disease, optimal efficacy might necessitate the use of 10 mg Ambrisentan. It is advisable to contemplate elevating the dosage to 10 mg Ambrisentan, given that the 5 mg dose is well tolerated.

When Ambrisentan is employed in combination with tadalafil from the start, the tadalafil dose should be gradually escalated from 20 mg to 40 mg once daily, four weeks following initiation. After an additional four weeks, the Ambrisentan dose should be increased from 5 mg to 10 mg, provided it is well tolerated.

The highest recommended daily dose is 10 mg.
