Bosutris 400 mg (Bosutinib 400 mg)

Bosutinib 400 mg, which is also referred to as Bosutris 400 mg, has been sanctioned as a kinase inhibitor for managing newly diagnosed adult patients with chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) in the chronic phase. Additionally, it is approved for those in the chronic, accelerated, or blast phase who have developed resistance to or intolerance of prior treatments.

Bosutinib Dosage:

The advised Bosutris 400 dosage and administration are as follows:

• Take 400mg orally once daily with food for newly-diagnosed chronic phase Ph+ CML.
• Take 500mg orally once daily with food for chronic, accelerated, or blast phase Ph+ CML patients who have developed resistance to or intolerance of prior therapy.
• If no complete hematologic, cytogenetic, or molecular response is achieved and adverse reactions of Grade 3 or higher are absent, it may be appropriate to increase the dose by 100mg once daily up to a maximum of 600mg daily.
• Adjust the dosage according to observed toxicity or organ impairment.

Bosutinib Side Effects: 

Ingesting Bosutinib can result in a range of side effects, and if you experience any of them, seek medical attention immediately. These include stomach pain, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, or blood in the stool. Low blood cell counts, such as red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets, are other possible side effects of Bosutinib. During the course of your treatment, your doctor will regularly monitor your blood cell counts.

Liver, heart, fluid retention, and kidney issues are other potential side effects of Bosutinib. If you encounter symptoms such as jaundice, dark urine, shortness of breath, chest pain, swelling in your hands, ankles, or feet, changes in urination patterns, or unexpected bleeding or bruising, contact your doctor immediately.

Diarrhea, rash, nausea, stomach pain, vomiting, fatigue, liver problems, respiratory tract infections, fever, headache, and alterations in specific blood tests are the most common side effects of Bosutinib in CML patients. To identify any changes, your doctor may conduct blood tests during your treatment.
