Seizures may also occur during treatment with Apalutamide, and patients should avoid activities where a sudden loss of consciousness could cause harm. Common side effects of Apalutamide include fatigue, weight loss, joint pain, hypertension, rash, hot flashes, decreased appetite, diarrhea, falls, and fractures.

Apalutamide may also cause fertility problems in males, and patients should discuss concerns about fertility with their healthcare provider. Patients should not donate sperm during treatment with Apalutamide and for three months after the last dose.
