Regonat ( regorafenib 40 mg )

Regonat, also known as regorafenib 40 mg, is a kinase inhibitor that has been approved for the treatment of several medical conditions. In particular, it is indicated for use in patients with metastatic colorectal cancer (CRC) who have previously undergone chemotherapy with fluoropyrimidine, oxaliplatin, and irinotecan, as well as an anti-VEGF therapy and, if their RAS status is wild-type, an anti-EGFR therapy. Additionally, Regonat can be used to treat patients with locally advanced, unresectable, or metastatic gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) who have already been treated with imatinib mesylate and sunitinib malate. Finally, it is also indicated for use in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) who have previously been treated with sorafenib.

Stivarga Dosing

Take regorafenib orally once a day for the initial 21 days of every 28-day cycle, with a low-fat meal. The prescribed dosage is 160 mg.

Regorafenib 40 mg side effects

Serious side effects, including liver problems, may arise from the use of Regorafenib. Liver problems can be severe and even fatal. Prior to commencing treatment with Regorafenib and during treatment, your healthcare provider will conduct liver function blood tests to identify any liver issues. If you experience any of the following symptoms during your treatment, inform your healthcare provider right away, as they may indicate liver problems:

(1) Yellowing of your skin or the whites of your eyes

(2) Dark, tea-colored urine (jaundice)

(3) Changes in your sleep pattern

(4) Nausea or vomiting.
