Barinib ( Baricitinib 2mg)

Barinib (Generic Baricitinib 2mg) is a Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor used for treating adult patients with moderately to severely active rheumatoid arthritis who have not responded adequately to one or more TNF antagonist therapies.

Limitations of Use:

• Baricitinib should not be used in combination with other JAK inhibitors, biologic DMARDs, or potent immunosuppressants such as azathioprine and cyclosporine.

Dosage Guidelines:

• The recommended dose is 2 mg once daily.
• It can be used as monotherapy or in combination with methotrexate or other DMARDs.

Precautions:

• Anemia: Avoid starting or interrupt treatment if hemoglobin is below 8 g/dL.
• Lymphopenia: Avoid starting or interrupt treatment if Absolute Lymphocyte Count (ALC) is below 500 cells/mm³.
• Neutropenia: Avoid starting or interrupt treatment if Absolute Neutrophil Count (ANC) is below 1000 cells/mm³.
